ONE GIF MOVING WHILE OTHER IS PAUSED

1. Make two GIFs. Make both of the GIFs’ width 250 and both of the GIFs’ height the same size. Make sure both of the GIF has the same seconds and same number of frames.

2. Go to File > New

This should pop up. Make the width 500 and the height whatever your GIFs’ height is.

3. On the GIF you want to be first, click the first layer, shift, and click the last layer. All the layers should be highlighted now.

4. Drag all your highlighted layers to the new document from step 2. Click on the Move Tool (V) and move the GIF to the left of the document if it isn’t already.

5. Repeat step 3 and 4 on the second GIF, but instead of moving it to the left, move it to the right.

6. Go to Window > Animation. On the animation bar, click THIS, and Make Frames From Layers. Both of the GIFs’ layers should be on the animation bar. If there is a white background, delete it by clicking the background frame and click the trash can.

7. Select all of the frames of the first GIF. Make the first frame of the second GIF visible. Select all of the frames for the second GIF. Make the last frame of the first GIF visible.

Final result:
